Conventional Feed Lines

The picture above shows a Conventional Feed Line consisting of:

- a pull-off reel, SH-series, type SHH8000 with auxiliary drive, load capacity 8.000 kg,
for coil outer diameter max. 1.700 mm, material width max. 1.000 mm,
with hydraulic hold-down arm as well as a hydraulic scissors-type loading device,
  coil reel hydraulically shiftable crossways

- straightener, RMA-series , type RMA100/78 with regular drive, ultrasonic loop control
and a two-part 2 hydraulic loop bridge for the looppit

- coil reel, loading device and straightener mounted on the same baseframe

- line driven by a roll feed mounted on the press

- installation took place in 2004

The classical conventional feed line pulls the coil material off a reel with a straightener powered by a reular drive. Then it straightens the material and guides it into a loop. The rool feed takes over the material from there and feeds it into the press with the desired clocked feeding length.
Depending on the feeding length and the feed rate / minute, a loop pit is used for the uptake of the loop. The loop is bypassed by a loop bridge when the coil material needs to be forwarded into the roll feed.
Depending on the coil material to be processed, the pull-off reel can be replaced with either a reel with a pulling force-controlled drive in direction of the straightener, or with, in individual cases, a regular reel with an additional loop. Conventional feed lines are mostly used for materials with a sensitive surface.
